A Near-Peer Approach
Schwartz Tutoring uses a near-peer tutoring method that has proven to be highly effective in helping students excel academically. Near-peer tutors are only a few years older than the students they work with. The result? A more engaging and relatable process for both tutor and student. This dynamic encourages students to feel comfortable enough to ask questions, seek help, and ultimately achieve academic success.
Keeping it Personal
Our practice is centered around the student as a whole person. Tutors are intentional with their interactions with students, allowing the student's strengths and interests to guide the educational experience. Students are heavily involved in the construction of their knowledge as tutors adapt content and material to complement their goals, passions, and aspirations.
